BASE Life Podcast Episode #27 - In Part 2 of the Baffin Island BASE Expedition Series we had three Veterans of Baffin Island, Brian, Erin Shutes and Simon Wandeler sit down with Randy, Ellen Brennan and Lau Frat at Skydive Eschbach to talk specifically about jumping considerations for Baffin Island. Even if you're not interested in jumping in Baffin Island, there are some good nuggets on doing outdoor activities in extremely cold conditions.

BASE Life Podcast Episode #25 - Brian, Randy and Ben give Annette O'Neil and Joel Strickland a call during their roadtrip fundraiser for Operation Enduring Warrior to help raise awareness for an amazing cause. Annette's article in The Parachutist Magazine (More Than the Sum of Its Jumps) was the impotus for this conversation, but it was also an opportunity for sky family to catch up and spread some love.
Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) is a veteran-founded non‐profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate our nation’s wounded veterans through a physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation. Their programs help participants overcome adversity and hardship through innovation, teamwork, and perseverance. This ultimately enables the lives of wounded veterans to go in directions they may have once thought were impossible.
OEW is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Donations go directly towards operational support of the organization and their various programs.

BASE Life Podcast Episode #23 - The Valley BASE Gear Season Opening Party has become a yearly tradition in Lauterbrunnen at the beginning of the BASE jumping season and each year it gets bigger. In conjunction with the opening party, Learn to BASE Jump, Phoenix Fly, Adrenalin BASE and Atair Canopies came together to put on a Free BASE Workshop. Over 120 years of collective experience came together to share information, have fun and improve skills for free.
